Captain Austin Roe Society

The Captain Austin Roe Society N.S.C.A.R. was officially re-organized on March 20, 2017.  We are located in the Patchogue  Long Island area.  Patriotic patriotism, learning America's history, and serving our community are our goals.  We are learning to be tomorrow's leaders!  We are happy that local leadership invites us to participate in community events such as the recent Children's Spring Celebration in Medford Memorial Park, parades, Revolutionary War recreation programs, writing letters to active duty troops, Honor Flight and, Service Dog support, climbing to the top of the Fire Island Light House, and other historic site visits.  We even met the 18th Century Man who taught us about the real events of the Culper Spy Ring!  Giving back to the community is most important to us.  Activities include collecting school supplies, baby items for Mercy House, and supplies for Beacon House.  We do enjoy each other's company, especially at a summer pool party! At our last meeting we began to make plans for the new State Society President's project "Honoring our Heroes." We welcome everyone's participation!

Our newly elected President is Naomi Kirkup. Graham Nathan is Vice President for the Long Island Region and the Captain Austin Roe Society Chaplain.  We are sponsored by DAR Col. Josiah Smith Chapter.

Please contact our Sr. President Dr. Joan Graham Nathan for event and meeting information at captainaustinroesociety@gmail.com
